Nowadays, some women don’t want to find love

Because they keep their eyes open just to find a thug

Thinking that’s the only type of man that fits them

Looking for real love but thugs don’t fit the description

I’m never looking for the wanna-be diva type

Trying to persuade me but I don’t believe the hype

And gold diggers don’t get any clearance

If you trying to get some money, I’ll run the interference

Some women only want a man who can pamper her

If she can’t do for self, then I won’t be after her

Independent women get respect from me

The world’s changing and you can’t get jack for free

Some women are just all about getting the star treatment

But if you can’t shine, it’s a waste of time

Gotta get a little glow so they can get a chance to show

They have ability to grow so they won’t whimper and whine

Some women got the nerve to act more than they’re worth

Like they were made to be queens straight from birth

But you can’t be a queen until you become a princess

Then you can start to rise and expect nothing less

And some women know the deal but still bring drama

When they get pregnant young and become a baby mama

Just understand the situation and you will prevail
