Beautiful Friend, it’s been awhile; how you’ve been?
Started thinking that I’ll never ever see you again
When I saw you the last time, I thought it was the last time
Looking at your beauty was my favorite pastime
That’s one thing that made you the person that you are
Whether I see you up close or I see you from afar
Your eyes, your lips and your caramel skin tone
If beauty’s skin deep, then yours is down to the bone
Got a mind of your own and a style so cool
I can tell that your mama didn’t raise no fool
There’s no need to compare your beauty to another
Call me a witness to a force of nature like no other
Do you remember the times that we spent together?
